Laura Gatti from Ferghettina will be telling the family story of their winery in amongst the lakes of northern Italy, where they make the best Franciacorta.

Franciacorta is Italian sparkling wine made from Chardonnay. and aged for more than a thousand days.

This is the cellar at Marchesi di Gresy in Piemonte Italy, Geoffrey Chilcott their winemaker is making a visit to the Library to enlighten us in the Italian upper class.
