Medals

The wine world loves awards, medals, badges and competitions. Understandable but at times, working in the trade, one does react sceptically. Nevertheless, it's not a bad idea that our customers should know how well received some of our wines have been when judged by our peers. Thus, this.

 The Sommelier Wine Awards

Our chief partner in wine - that is, our chief buying partner for over 30 years now - is Boutinot,   producer and importer, significant other to the UK independent trade and longtime market influencer for all things good.

This year, as has been regularly the case, their work was lauded in the annual Sommelier Wine Awards. Started in 2007, this is the country's only on-trade competition and an important point of reference for the UK's on-trade wine buyers.

Below are a few examples of the many accolades in 2020, available in our online store. Click on the image for more details.
