Welch & Co Wine Merchants have been bespoke suppliers to the on-trade in and around Oxfordshire since the fine sunny vintage of 1988. We are a small firm, local and independent, dedicated to service and good wine - and we love what we do.
From March 2020, given the forced closure of all our bar, restaurant and theatre trade customers, in order to give us something to do during the day we began selling to private customers in our local community. S0 Pierre le Vin was born and has fast become a pivotal and exciting part of what we do.

Exclusive
Our wine portfolio is built on minimal intervention, with no additives, flavourings, colourings, stabilisers, or acidifiers. Most of our wines are vegetarian or vegan-friendly, carefully selected for quality and character.
We offer over 300 organic wines from France, Chile, Spain, Italy, Romania, and Australia, and have access to 1,600 wines from 150 producers worldwide, including Japan, New Zealand, Lebanon, Georgia, Greece, and Hungary. Our in-stock range of 400+ wines and spirits is constantly evolving, focusing mainly on the £8–£20 band and featuring exclusive, hard-to-find bottles that you won't find in the supermarkets.
All our wines are tasted, selected, and monitored to ensure clean, genuine flavours. With minimal intervention, you can enjoy them without the common additives that often cause headaches (but we can't promise no headaches from drinking too much!)
